The house is situated in the Barcelona municipality of Calders, on the edge of the Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac natural park, with its exceptional landscape formed by crags and monoliths of reddish tones.
With a floor area of 240 square meters and executed on a budget of 215,000 euros (895euros/m2), the building rises on a sharply sloping piece of land. The upper story, on the same level as the street, contains a studio and a garage, which leads into the dwelling. On the lower level are three bedrooms and a double-height living room.
A structure of horizontal concrete slabs and H-shaped steel pillars was created to free up the space and do without partitions, resulting in continuity and diluted limits between interior and exterior, all to exalt the privileged natural environament as a continuous landscape.
