The project is both an architecture and landscape project, comprising four buildings: two renovations of dilapidated historical structures and two ground-up, connected residences, half way through construction.
In addition to the two renovations, our office designed two new, connected houses, along an existing retaining wall. These buildings are defined by a precast Double-T structural system, to relate to the exposed, wooden post and beam construction of the existing structures. Text description by the architects.
