​Vista al Río is an 8-home single-family home development located within Rancho Avándaro Country Club in Valle de Bravo.

The barn underwent a sympathetic restoration, converting it for use as a contemporary family home. Externally, the stonework was cleaned and the badly weathered lime pointing was replaced using traditional techniques.

The project retains the original extension, and replaces the coach house, essentially extending the extension. The new extension, on basement, ground, first and second floors, evokes elements of Foster’s treatment of the coach house and the original roof forms with angled facades.
