The central theme is not so much the resolution of a specific programme, but the consolidation of a sufficiently precise idea that will lead to the free organisation of the space over time.

This is a project for the reconversion and refurbishment of a ground floor space in an existing building into a shared and collaborative workplace.

To this end, a flexible and polyvalent organisation of the space is proposed by means of a succession of interconnected rooms. The spaces are provided and configured according to their public or private nature. In this way, an internal organisational system is generated that gives depth to the new space.

The depth of the plan is acquired through the diversity of accesses that promotes collaboration between the different pieces. The server spaces, such as shelves and niches, are concentrated in the thick limits of the interior walls. In this way, spaces without a specific function are configured.

The result is a composition of a small city of rooms. Text description by the architects.
