The Method Offices

The refurbishment of the Method office space presented a unique challenge: creating an environment that reflects the brand’s identity — fitness through fun — while simultaneously offering a contrasting sense of calm and relaxation, away from the high-energy of the studios. The result is a dynamic, multi-functional space where creativity and productivity flourish.

To embody Method’s brand ethos, the design strategy focused on bold contrasting colours balanced with calming whites and neutrals. Iridescent hues of blues, purples, pinks, and greens flow throughout the space, creating a sense of continuous movement and energy. These colours are reminiscent of a sunrise — symbolic of renewal, growth, and fresh ideas. By incorporating these shifting tones, the space evokes a feeling of being in a constant state of bloom, inspiring creativity and promoting mental clarity.

Featured lighting installations add another layer of interest, enhancing the space's vibrant atmosphere while supporting its calming undertone. These carefully curated lights work in tandem with soft, cloud-like furniture, creating a harmonious balance between energy and tranquillity.

The design avoided harsh lines and angular forms, opting instead for soft curves and rounded edges. Circular motifs are repeated throughout, reinforcing a sense of continued flow. This design language creates a floating, seamless experience, encouraging movement while maintaining an atmosphere of lightness and calm. Text description by the architects.
