PARASITES
Depending on the context, our relationship with architecture can be that of parasites. An artificial containing body becomes the host that houses us. Like parasites. Just as the great fish housed Jonah inside its body for three days, until he was carried to protected dry land.

DEGREES OF INTERIORITY
An interior is defined based on the degree of separation. It is born from the need for distance. So everything that regulates clarity in the degrees of distance from the context also defines the degrees of interiority. The interior of the Paire house is small, more than a patio, a garden to look at. The proportion of the garden is elongated and its shape tends to be triangular. The rooms look at this garden from the narrowest view, from the narrowness. And the dining room looks towards the smaller tip of this triangular space, towards the tightness.

INTO
The interior garden is the center of the house. It is an open garden with natural light. The living area and most of the bedrooms face this garden. It is also part of the main access to the house, since this circulation crosses it. A second garden works as access to the house. This forms the cut between the rugged exterior and the sheltered interior of the house. It is a covered garden and considers a more controlled natural lighting in order to generate the cut coming from the outside.

OUTSIDE
Towards the outside the house looks at a row of trees and some hills close to the place. These are the context reference. What the house wanted to look at. The trees are a little misleading when you're inside, hinting that the outside is wooded and less hostile than it really is. Meanwhile, the nearby hills speak of the real context, what the place is, a wild and dry environment. Text description by the architects.
